One Act Play Success
Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society took the award for Best Set at the recent Nidderdale and District Festival of One Act Plays.
The Society entry was a hilarious play called “Wedding Bash” which explored the different perceptions of the perfect wedding by the bride and groom and their guests.
The play had been adapted by Keith Burton from a past winner of the Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival and was warmly received by the audience at the Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough. Keith also directed the play.
The cast featured Steve Rouse as Lonny, Jenny MacNair as Dana, Cory Jonas as Alan and Heather Appleton as Edi.
The Award for Best Set was well deserved by Justin Enthoven and his backstage team.
